Holy cow, the term is speeding by! How did it become the end of fourth week!! I try not to think about it. I'd rather think about the exciting tidbits of news I have to share!

 1. We won All Saints!!

All Saints is a 2 day tournament in St. Cloud for collegiate and premier Rugby teams from all over the area. This is the first year I've been able to go, and it was amazing! Exhausting, yes, but excellent team bonding and tons tons tons of rugby! We played 4 games throughout the weekend, and came out the undefeated champs! We played some really good teams and fought hard, and in case there are other moms out there like mine, they will all be happy to know that there were zero injuries, not even a strained muscle! Here we are, tired and happy!

Trophy!!

2. I FINALLY go to Dacie Moses!

You can find all the details about Dacie Moses here, but basically it's a house donated by a previous Northfield resident that is open 24 hours a day and is always fully stocked with cookie-baking goods! I went spontaneously with a couple of friends and improved some cookies since we weren't feeling the conventional chocolate chip.

3. Carleton will have a new president come August 2nd!

His name is Steve Poskanzer, and he is one of the smiliest (most smiley?) men I've ever seen! He was announced as the next president on Friday, and gave a speech in Sayles to pretty much the entire campus. He seems really nice and is really excited about coming to Carleton! I'm stoked to see where he's going to take us in the future, and I wish him the best of luck!

That's all for now, I'm off to research the most effective cognitive strategies employed in advertising (my comps topic!) and order some Late Night Cookies! Hope everyone in enjoying the beautiful spring, and that anyone who came to Accepted Students Days this past weekend had a great time!
