CHAS (The Consortium on High Achievement and Success) has encouraged pedagogical innovation to increase the engagement and success of underrepresented students since 2005, and has awarded 14 grants of approximately $6500. The East Laird Times is distributed electronically to the faculty by the Dean of the College Office. It is published bi-monthly during the academic terms, and on an occasional basis during breaks.
