Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship Info Session

Tuesday, January 8th, 2013
12:00 – 1:00 pm / Stimson House

The primary goal of the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship (MMUF) Program is to increase the number of minority students, and others with a demonstrated commitment to eradicating racial disparities, who will pursue PhDs in core fields in the arts and sciences by fostering the undergraduate experience of independent research, nurturing students as scholars, and deepening their awareness of graduate study and the professoriate. The Program thereby aims to reduce over time the serious under-representation on university and college faculties of individuals from certain minority groups as well as to address the attendant educational consequences of these disparities.

Lunch will be served at this info session.
