Boxes and Walls
This event will start at promptly at 12:00pm. Due to this being a tour style event, those who wish to participate should arrive 5-10 minutes prior to be placed into tour groups. If you have and questions, contact Miguel Rincon Cervantes, rinconm@carleton.edu, or Phuoc Huynh, huynhp@carleton.edu. There will also be a debrief the last 30 minutes of the event.
Boxes and Walls is an interactive integrative experience that seeks to illuminate themes of marginalization, oppression, discrimination and/or misconception based on personal realities. Topics covered have included class, gender, sexual orientation, ability, race, ethnicity, nationality and religious affiliation.
Boxes and Walls is an initiative toward fostering more interactive dialogues between faculty, staff, students and administration on a non-academic level.
