FAQ and Other Tips and Tricks

This page is home to our Frequently Asked Questions, where you can find information on all sorts of things, from useful info about using Moodle and Google Docs to how to give someone access to course materials.  If you have any questions you would like to see us add answers to, please email us.

Since we have many questions answered here, we recommend that you either search by entering a keyword or by choosing a category. You may choose to add a focus (second category) to narrow your search.

How do I add useful blocks?

1. On your course page, scroll down to the bottom left corner and find the block that says "Add a block"

2. Select the drop-down menu that says Add... and click on the option you want

3. A new block should appear above the block

4. To edit the contents of the block, click the settings icon (the cog) and hit Configure X Block where X is the block you chose. The example below is for a "Mentee" Block

5. Add a block title (if needed), and insert the content you would like to display
