OCS Photo 2017

Through Carleton’s extensive off-campus studies programs, students are immersed in other nations, places, and cultures, forge lifelong friendships, and find inspiration in many forms.

In 2015-16, 434 students studied off campus on 111 different programs in 60 different countries. Others volunteered, worked as interns, and conducted independent research in numerous domestic and international locations. Twenty-one Carleton faculty members led or taught off-campus studies programs.

The photographs in this exhibit were selected from over 250 submissions. Together they represent a sample of the sights, colors, textures, and character of Carleton students’ off-campus journeys.

Thank you to this year’s contest judges:
Dean Carolyn Livingston, Dan Bruggeman, and Mike Kowalewski. Thanks also to award sponsors: Gould Library, College Communications, Bon Appétit, and Global Engagement Initiative.
