Peripatetic Gallery

Professor of Art David Lefkowitz '85 conceived and founded Peripatetic Gallery for Northern Spark, an all-night art festival featuring large scale video projections, temporary installations, and experimental performances in public spaces throughout the Twin Cities. The gallery is a roving alternative exhibition space on wheels, which traveled throughout St. Paul, MN for Northern Spark in 2013, and has remained in operation ever since.

Simultaneously a scale model of a traditional art gallery and a fully operational non-commercial art space, the gallery hosts a semi-regular schedule of exhibits and related programming. Gould Library is delighted to host this gallery within our gallery for the rest of the academic year. Currently on view: "Installation in Progress." Past exhibits include "Gifts from the Wardrobe," which was on view in the library during Fall Term, 2019.
