Evidence Series
A selection of Rachel Breen's works on paper, including selections from her 'Maps' and 'Evidence' series, which imagines remnants and shreds of evidence found among the charred remains and rubble of garment factory disasters. The “remnants” are sewn back together, as an effort to repair. The work is made in tribute to those who survive factory disasters. The act of remembering can be an act of resistance.
Presented in conjunction with The Price of Our Clothes, an exhibit in the Perlman Teaching Museum
