In 1986, Marie Halun Bloch donated the personal collection of her husband, Donald Beaty Bloch to the Library. Mr. Bloch was a noted book dealer and collector who lived and worked in the Denver area for over 40 years. Although the majority of this Collection of over 1500 Western Americana titles is part of the Library’s regular collection, the Special Collections houses a number of the rarest Bloch items.
