Calendar: LTC Events, Book Groups and Workshops

The LTC hosts a variety of events each term.

  • LTC Lunches are open to all members of the Carleton community and lunch is provided for 50 people.
  • Targeted Audience Lunches are discussion based and intended for members of the community who have a vested interest in the topic.  We ask that you RSVP for these lunches so that reading materials or discussion questions can be sent out before beforehand.

Fostering Collegial Conversations about Teaching: Reflecting on LTC Programs and Brainstorming Options for the Future

Tuesday, September 24th, 2019
11:45 am – 1:00 pm / Weitz 236

In addition to the weekly lunches, which are the most visible LTC activities, the LTC also offers an array of other programs to support teaching and learning, including teaching circles, the junior-senior faculty observation program, and the student observer program. Hear from faculty who have participated in these programs and join a conversation about what we might do differently or better.

Chris Calderone, Assoc. Professor of Chemistry
