James Trefil has written extensively about science for the general audience and is a science consultant for the Smithsonian and Astronomy magazines, as well as for National Public Radio and numerous PBS productions. Among his publications are The Sciences: An Integrated Approach and New Dictionary of Cultural Literacy. A videotape of his Carleton faculty presentation is available from the LTC, Willis 207.
