Personal Recreational Philosophy
High quality service and programming are what lead to a recreation program that enhances social experiences and overall enjoyment of college life. I believe that having a well rounded collegiate experience that encompasses getting a high quality education, along with high quality recreational opportunities, will aid in a students future endeavors, and successes. I feel strongly that the benefits received from participating in recreation are multi-faceted, and lifelong. I would expect students leaving school to be committed to a life of learning through their educational experience, and a life of wellness based on the offerings provided by our program and facility.

Personal Recreational Philosophy:
I am thrilled to be a part of the leadership of Campus Recreation at Carleton College.
My philosophy is that Campus Recreation provides the framework for healthy living to equal healthy behaviors. I believe in a balance of activities which focus on the whole person and range from health and fitness, arts, adventure, competition, and social interaction.
My degree in Occupational Science with a concentration in Community Health and Wellness from the College of St. Catherine, along with my 34 years of being a part of the Carleton community have prepared me to professionally build this framework by working with others on the Carleton College campus and in the recreational field.
