Learn the fundamentals of instrumental and choral conducting including gesture, beat patterns, score reading, and beginning rehearsal techniques. Students in this course will form a laboratory ensemble that participants lead as a means of gaining conducting experience and experimenting with the relationship between gesture and sound. Prerequisite: Ability to read music
