PHYS 227.52 Atomic and Nuclear Physics Lab 2 credits
This lab course covers applications of quantum mechanics to X-ray and optical spectra and instruments of nuclear and particle physics. The course meets for one laboratory session per week and covers the lab portion of Physics 228 that is required for upper-level physics lab classes. The lab will follow a hybrid format requiring some face-to-face meetings.
Prerequisite: Physics 143, 144 or 151. Corequisite Physics 226
