Alumni, Summer Teaching Institute Participants and Pre-College Programs

  • Alumni who attended Carleton after September 1, 2002 can request transcripts online.  Alumni who last attended prior to September 1, 2002 will need to send a signed letter.
  • Summer Teaching Institute participants and Pre-College Program participants will need to send a signed letter.
  • Students requesting transcripts to international addresses using the on-line form, should choose Minnesota to fill the state box.  After submitting the request, send an email to with the complete address to which the transcript should be sent. The Registrar's Office staff will complete the address entry for you.  It is necessary for you to do the on-line request as your authorization for the release of your transcript.
  • All others should use the following procedure:
    • Send a letter including the following information:
      1. Your name while attending Carleton
      2. Your dates of attendance
      3. The complete address to which the transcript should be sent
      4. The purpose of your request, i.e. Grad School App, Employment etc.
      5. There is NO charge to release an official transcript.  Express mail and fax charges do apply.
    • Your letter MUST be signed to authorize the release of the transcript
