Carleton College's Student Center, Sayles Hill, is the hub of student life on campus. Not only does it house classrooms, study spaces, and newly equipped computer lab, it is a social space where students, faculty and staff can interact as well as work. Home to student organizations, the bookstore and snack bar, Sayles has always been an indispensable part of student life. Since its construction the building has evolved from its original athletic capacity into a unique social environment.
