After scrimping and saving on light and heat energy, some very green students were ready to celebrate the end of Green Wars month. SOPE and MPIRG obliged by holding a Leap Day Green Wars acoustic concert in the Cave.
With a backdrop of power-saving low lighting, and a poster on the wall exhorting students to recycle, student performers took the stage. Aside from the lights and electric microphones, the concert was electricity-free.
Nate Wilairat ’11 and Will Tynan ‘11 strummed to “Shady Grove” and “Gray.” Michael Henneberry ’09 capped off the evening with harmonica accompaniment to the final songs.
