Join us for an afternoon site visit to Thrivent Financial in downtown Minneapolis for a chance to meet with alumni and learn about the variety of functional areas available at this organization.

This off-campus visit will introduce Carleton students to opportunities available in finance, technology and business at Thrivent.  You will be exposed to how a very large company is structured, and the types of roles people play there.

• Part 1: Panel discussion with Carleton alums who will discuss their roles and how they've leveraged their Carleton backgrounds into successful careers in business at Thrivent.  You’ll also hear from Nikki Sorum, Divisional Vice President, and co-chair of Carleton’s Parent Advisory Committee (and mom to Marielle Foster, Carleton class of 2016), talk about Thrivent’s unique approach to finances.  She’ll share how we help our members be wise with money so they can live generous lives, and will encourage you to begin thinking about your financial journey from scarcity to surplus, now.

• Part 2: Thrivent Action Team event - this afternoon activity will be social and interactive. Participation in this Action Team will be a competitive and fun way to see how Thrivent demonstrates a culture of living its values. In addition, good food will be served and you'll get the opportunity to make a difference in our local community!
