Freedom Preparatory Academy prepares students to excel in college and in life. They accomplish their mission of college preparation through a highly structured, academically rigorous environment where students master the core subjects, develop advanced academic skills and demonstrate the school’s core values of Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Excellence, and Community. Their focus is a clear, strategic and direct path to college for every student that enters our doors.

Join Isabel "Izzy" Rodriguez ’12 and Jessica Blackmon on Thursday, April 17th at 7 p.m. in Leighton 236.  They will talk about Freedom Preparatory Academy and their open opportunity for Elementary/Middle/High School Teachers.

At Freedom Preparatory Academy, they look for smart, problem-solving, self-reflective, and passionate teachers who want to close the achievement gap by preparing each of our students for success in college and life. They seek teachers who want to be part of a dynamic, hard-working team at the best charter schools in Memphis.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate a mastery of subject knowledge, a proven ability to manage a classroom, and an entrepreneurial spirit and approach to teaching and school reform.
