Dr. Eckert is an associate professor in the Women's Health Division of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Washington and the gynecology director at the Harborview Sexual Assault Center. She is also an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Global Health. Her clinical specialties are in infectious disease, vaginal infections, and immunizations. Dr. Eckert spent a sabbatical at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, in 2009 working on the HPV vaccine. She maintains a clinical and research interest in global public health policy and its translation into improving women's health care locally and globally. |
