This Thursday during Common Time (noon-1pm), we will host another "Careers in Social Justice" panel titled "Immediate Engagement: Opportunities after Carleton".  Our panelists will be:

-Andrew BoddySpargo, '09 .  Andy just returned from Nicaragua working as a English Education Teacher Trainer for the Peace Corps
-Gwen Nuemeister, '12.  Gwen is currently an Americorp/VISTA volunteer working as a Health Advocacy Coordinator with the Minnesota Internship Center
-Borr Vang, '12.  Borr is a Technology Based College Coach for College Possible
-Anna Preus, '11.  Anna is in her second year as a VISTA coordinator for the Minnesota Literacy Council.

We will also have information about the faith-based service programs (such as Lutheran Volunteer Corps, AVODAH, etc).

Schuyler Rowe '14 will be our moderator.  Lunch (tamales?) will be provided for the first 30 people.

We will be meeting in the Alumni Guest House Meeting Room (the room in the Admissions building/Johnson House, just left of the door).

These panels are co-sponsored by the Career Center, EthIC, CCCE, and the Chaplain's Office.

Hope you can be there to learn about these important ways into a variety of social service and social justice programs.
