Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholders Meeting

Travel to Omaha for Annual Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders Meeting (Friday, May 4 to Saturday, May 5, 2018)

Warren Buffett, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, is highly regarded and recognized for his investing insights and expertise. Subsequently, this meeting has become a highly anticipated event by many professionals in numerous industry sectors. Carleton has secured admission for students to attend the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholders Meeting on Saturday, May 5, 2018, in Omaha, Nebraska. The meeting hosts upwards of 40,000 attendees every year who come to listen to Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger discuss their investment decisions in a question and answer format.

Meetings with Carleton alumni will be scheduled on Friday, May 4. Alumni include:


An orientation meeting for students selected to participate is scheduled for Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at noon.

A charter bus will depart campus for Omaha at 7:45AM on Friday, May 4th, returning to Northfield on Saturday, May 5th at approximately 10:00PM.  The college will cover travel, lodging and some meal expenses.

Carleton students of any class year are eligible to participate. To apply, submit a resume and cover letter outlining your interest in participating in this event.  In particular, please address your interest, experience, and career goals relating to business.

Application deadline is Tuesday, April 17, 2018.  Submit application materials via the Tunnel.
