How will you evaluate the service-learning component of your course?

Some ideas that have been used in courses before are:

  • Demonstration of a skill
  • Assessment of written work
  • Normal course assessment
  • Agency supervisor evaluation
  • Observation of student in simulation
  • Assessment of a product(s)
  • Personal interview
  • Oral presentation
  • Service-learning plan/contract

These are ideas, but every course is different and there may be other, more suitable, ways of reflection and evaluation!
