Carleton Alumni Celebrate Reunion June 14–17

May 17, 2018

An estimated 2,500 alumni and their families will return to Carleton for Reunion Weekend. Carleton extends special thanks to the Northfield community as we welcome these visitors back to town.

The college invites its neighbors to enjoy the annual Reunion fireworks display, which will be held on Friday, June 15 at approximately 10 p.m. The best views are from the Boliou patio above Lyman Lakes. On Sunday, alumni will be encouraged to “Rediscover Northfield” — local merchants will offer specials, and the Northfield Historical Society will be open. Throughout the weekend, there will be numerous events, including walking tours, Alumni College lectures, open houses hosted by offices and departments across campus, and more.

This year also marks the 50th anniversary of the founding Carleton men’s rugby team and the 40th anniversary of the women’s team. An exhibition match and festivities are planned on Carleton’s rugby pitch near the Hill of Three Oaks on Saturday, June 16. A full schedule of Reunion events is available online.

Each year, this event draws traffic and parking to the East Side neighborhood. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding during this time of celebration for the Carleton community.
