12th Annual "Halloween Knight" to be Held Oct. 24

October 14, 2010

NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- The Carleton College athletic department, coaches and varsity student-athletes are pleased to announce the 12th Annual "Halloween 'KNIGHT'" Carnival to be held Sunday, October 24, from 3 to 5 p.m. The event has been moved to the Rec Center due to the recent flooding of West Gym.

This free activity for pre-school through elementary-age children (and their parents) will include game and activity booths such as face painting, the beanie bag toss, the football toss, bowling, a “fishing” pond and a relay race.

Carleton varsity athletic teams will sponsor different booths with prizes and candy given out at each. Attendees are encouraged to come in costume to enjoy the Halloween “Knight” with the Knights in a safe, family-friendly environment. The event is sponsored by the Carleton Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC).
