Echoes of War

Join Carleton College and the Minnesota Humanities Center’s Echoes of War program for a special session dedicated to exploring questions of public history and personal memory as they relate to one of the most famous memorials in the United States – the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The event will use literary texts, personal stories, and historical background from Dr. Micki McElya, author of “The Politics of Mourning,” to discuss the experience of war and build relationships between Veterans and non-Veterans.

Free and open to the public. Lunch and materials provided.
