New Biology Seminar Taught by Rika Anderson:

October 31, 2017 at 11:50 am

In this new seminar, we will delve into the primary literature to explore fundamental questions about the origin and evolution of life: How did life arise on Earth? Where on Earth did life begin? What was the nature of our last universal common ancestor? How did life change the planet? Could life originate elsewhere in the cosmos?

This 6 credit seminar will be interdisciplinary — all STEM majors are welcome to participate. Biology 125 and 126 and one additional 200- or 300-level Biology course, or permission of the instructor, are prerequisites for the course. The seminar will be Winter 2018 on Tuesdays and Thursday from 10:10-11:55am.
