CS Tea Talk: Assistant Professor Anya Vostinar ('12)
'Simulating bacterial and viral dynamics using artificial life.' Assistant Professor Anya Vostinar's research is interdisciplinary, combining ideas both from biology and computer science. Learn more about how computer science can be used to develop new insights into biological experiments, about how we can think about evolution as an algorithm. Whether you're an aficionado of all things biological, intrigued by the concept of a bacteriophage, or just want to learn about a neat application of computer science and see the smiling faces of other people who are excited about computer science, As usual, this tea talk is intended for everyone, regardless of your background in computer science (or in bio!).
CS Tea is taking place on Zoom this term. Sign up for the cs-interest mailing list to get the weekly link and join us via Zoom.
