CS Tea Talk: Professor Siobahn Day Grady
Siobahn Day Grady is an assistant professor of information sciences at North Carolina Central University. Her research involves machine learning and natural language processing, and she also has extensive work in outreach, working to make CS more inclusive. She is a BlackcomputeHER fellow and an AAAS IF/THEN Ambassador.
In her talk entitled 'My life as a computer and information scientist,' she'll be sharing her journey in the field of computer science, including persisting through challenges, and talking about both her research and outreach work, as well as having time for questions from the audience. Professor Grady has worked on a variety of projects, and besides working in academia, she's also been an entrepreneur and created a graphic design company.
