Please join us in welcoming the Black Box Theater group from Washburn High School in Minneapolis as they present 'Back 2 the Present.'

This play is written and created by Washburn High School juniors and seniors. The play explores how ancestors from marginalized communities support and hold us today. What would our black, brown, queer, immigrant and female ancestors tell us today to support us getting through this turbulent time? From Stonewall, to the border wall, witness students as they speak their truths and connect with their histories and ancestors to guide them back to themselves.
