Elizer Darris, Activist and Motivational Speaker and formerly incarcerated for more than two decades will give a talk, Dangerous Minds: How the Journey for Knowledge Redeemed My Life, on Thursday, April 27, 4-5:30 in Leighton 305. Mr. Darris was a student in Deborah Appleman's Creative Writing class at Minnesota Correctional Facility in Stillwater. The talk is sponsored by American Studies, Educational Studies, CORAL (Carleton Organized Radicals, Activists and Leftists), CAP (Carls Against Prison)
