Summer Interns and Research Opportunities

Mudd Building, Columbia University

The Mudd Building housed the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science at Columbia University, NY.

Summer researches and internships are arguably the best way to find out more about a specific discipline that you want to work for in the future. In environmental engineering, there are more structured programs for research compared to internships. However, if you look in the specific industry that you would like to work in carefully and use your network to contact people, there are certainly opportunities for a fruitful summer internship in the field. Below you will find a list of related industries that you may want to look into for internships, as well as links to summer research programs and more.
