Extraposition from NP (e.g., I met [someone] yesterday [who loves Minnesota winters]) presents a puzzle for standard movement theories of displacement. I will (i) propose a novel connectivity diagnostic utilizing Polarity Items and (ii) employ quantitative methods in order to investigate the mechanisms involved in the derivation and representation of these constructions.
