Title: The Kakeya Needle Problem

Abstract: How much space is required to rotate a needle so it points in every direction? How do we talk about dimension, in a world without coordinates, or basis vectors? What do these two questions have to do with each other? Come find out and learn about my favorite open problem in mathematics!
