Christopher U. Light Lectureship Concert
Music of Salvador Brotons, composer
The Christopher U. Light Lecturer in Music for 2004-2005 is the distinguished composer-conductor Salvador Brotons of Barcelona. In addition to several chamber works performed by faculty and students, the Carleton Orchestra will present Brotons' orchestral work, "Virtus," which was recently awarded the Queen Sophia International Prize for Orchestral Composition.The event is free and open to the public.
