Information for First Year Students

Welcome to Carleton and to Off-Campus Studies!

More than 70% of Carleton students study off-campus, and many Carleton students begin planning for off-campus study soon after they arrive on campus.

We invite you to attend one of the many events we have scheduled throughout New Student Week, fall term, and beyond to inform you about program options, and OCS policies and procedures at Carleton. Students can study off-campus as early as their sophomore year. No matter if or when you decide to study off-campus, it never hurts to plan ahead.

Here are some events and resources to get you started:

  • New Student Week

    Carleton Program Information Meetings

  • Non-Carleton Program Information Tables
