Lecturer in Latin American Studies
As director of OCS, Helena is responsible for coordinating Off-Campus Studies programming on campus, working with Carleton faculty on the development of Carleton seminars, advising students on program choices, and supervising the OCS office. Originally from Poland, she has worked at OCS since 2000 and holds a PhD in Luso-Brazilian Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Naomi works with several of the Carleton seminars, OCS events, and student advising. She holds a PhD in Comparative and International Development Education from the University of Minnesota and master’s degrees in counseling and French studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She joined the OCS office in 2006.
Leslie works with the Director and Assistant Director in developing off-campus study services, resources, and opportunities for students and faculty, and manages the Terra Dotta Software application system (OCS Student Portal). Leslie has a B.A. in French from Lawrence University.
Rob works with all aspects of Carleton's Global Engagement Programs (Cameroon, Europe, and India). He has worked with study abroad and international student services at several higher education institutions in Minnesota. Rob has a master's degree in Scandinavian Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and he joined the OCS office in 2012.
Mikaela provides support to Off-Campus Studies and the Global Engagement Initiative. She graduated from Carleton in 2010, majoring in linguistics, and holds a master's degree in higher education from the University of Oxford. She returned to Carleton in 2016.
