Off-Campus Studies Statistics

Carleton continues to have high levels of participation in off-campus study. 21% of the student body participated in off-campus studies for academic credit during the 2018-19 academic year (summer through spring, including winter and spring breaks).

For the 2019 senior class, during their four-year Carleton career, 68% studied off-campus. They participated in 100 different programs in 53 countries.

In the class of 2019, the following majors had 100% of their students participate in off-campus studies:

  • Environmental Studies
  • French and Francophone Studies
  • German
  • Russian
  • Women's and Gender Studies

70% or more of these majors participated in off-campus studies:
