NEW DATE: Prof. Daniel Groll, St. Olaf philosophy colloquium

Monday, February 15th, 2010
3:30 – 5:00 pm / St. Olaf, Holland 516

Daniel will be giving a talk that offers a conceptual framework for making sense of disagreements in clinical medicine between patients and healthcare providers. He will use this framework to offer (tentative) normative conclusions for how the state should act in cases where parents refuse treatment for their children (as in, for example, the Daniel Hauser case).
