Philosophy Senior Eugene Nishi will present his Comps project, "Paraconsistent Logic". All are welcome!

A famous logical paradox, the Liar paradox seems to show that there exists a true contradiction, or dialetheia, to borrow Richard Routley and Graham Priest's term.
In this paper, my main task is to defend Dialetheism, which claims that there are some true contradictions (dialetheia).  I will first discuss some of the changes from classical propositional logic that Dialetheism has to face in order to have dialetheia, and the second part of my paper will deal with some metaphysical and epistemological worries for adopting Dialetheism.
