Discussion on Racism within the Discipline of Psychology

A second session, led by Ken Abrams, will focus on the history of diagnostic bias in clinical settings, such as the tendency for Black individuals to be diagnosed more frequently with schizophrenia than White individuals for a given presenting set of symptoms.

Students are encouraged to read one or both of the attached brief articles, though please feel free to come even if you haven't had a chance to do so.
