This report is based on a six-month study designed to identify sources, needs and prospects for curricular and research support at Carleton College. Put into a larger context, the study is intended to be an important contribution to the College’s discussions about how best to align institutional resources with work demanded of contemporary students and faculty. The report contains four sections that:

  1. Articulate the goals of Carleton’s Coordinated Support Model
  2. Identify current sources of support
  3. Distill four critical themes that emerged from the committee’s discussions
  4. Pinpoint specific, near-term action items
