Nandini Rao will speak about the diverse strands within various social justice movements in India. She will trace its ‘herstory’ while drawing connections with current issues and movements including caste, disability, queer rights, and students’ movements. Additionally, Nandini will discuss the importance of collaborative networks among social justice movements to challenge patriarchy and other oppressive structures. Nandini Rao is a feminist activist, trainer, counselor and writer. Her work focuses on gender and disability, sexuality, masculinity and women's leadership & empowerment. Light appetizers provided!
