LTC Lunch

Tue, November 8, 2016 • 11:45am - 1:00pm (1h 15m) • Larson Meeting Room, Weitz 236

OCS Winter Break Trips offer an attractive pedagogical model that allow for learning to evolve through
problem-posing and on-site exploration to postprogram analysis and reflection. As such, they promote
stronger ties to on-campus curriculum and allow for a longer period over which to study a topic (fall
course + 2-week December trip + winter course). The presentations will focus on three aspects of this
OCS program model: 1) Rationale, 2) Combining Theory and Practice, and 3) Experiencing Place.

Debby Walser-Kuntz, Professor of Biology
Dan Bruggeman
, Senior Lecturer in Art
Harry Williams, Laird Bell Professor of History

Students are welcome to attend.
