Showcasing Carleton’s historic strength in science education, this symposium will feature sessions led by Carleton faculty, students, and alumni on topics such as energy and climate, precision medicine, and more. The program is aligned with a series of presentations honoring Joel Weisberg, Herman and Gertrude Mosier Stark Professor of Physics and Astronomy and the Natural Sciences, who is retiring from Carleton.  The events in this series are described here.  In addition to an opening breakfast, there will be a poster session over lunch offering an opportunity to talk with current students and learn more about their summer science-related internship and research experiences.  Advance registration is required for the breakfast and the lunch: please sign up here.
