"Into the Community" at West Gym.  Remember working together to plant trees during the "Into the Arb" NSW event your freshmen year?  You bonded with your classmates and learned about the Carleton Arboretum and the Center for Community and Civic Engagement (CCCE.)  As you depart Carleton, let's have one more fun experience together while giving to a good cause and keeping discarded items out of the landfill.  Come down to West Gym, the headquarters of the Lighten Up garage sale, to help sort and organize student donations.  Last year we raised over $37,000 for local non profits (Project Friendship, Special Olympics, and the Northfield Union of Youth) and with your help we hope to match that again this year. Bring a water bottle, wear breathable work clothes, and stop by with your friends any time between 9-3pm to help out.  See you there!
