Convocation Speaker Suggestion Form

Thank you for your interest in the convocations program at Carleton. The weekly convocation series is a shared campus experience that brings students, faculty and staff together for one hour for a lecture, presentation or performance from specialists in a variety of disciplines. The goal of the convocation series is to stimulate thought and conversation on a broad range of interesting subjects.

Suggestions for convocation speakers come from students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The Convocations Committee reviews these recommendations and selects a list of presenters who come from a variety of backgrounds, reflect diverse views, and would have broad campus interest.

Suggestions are now being accepted for the 2019–20 convocation series.  Speaker suggestions submitted after spring break will likely not be considered for the 2019-20 series, but can be considered for the 2020-21 series.
