Purpose: The Zonta International Amelia Earhart Fellowship Awards memorialize famed air pioneer and Zontian, Amelia Earhart, who disappeared over the Pacific in 1937. Zonta International encourages and supports women pursuing graduate degrees in aerospace-related science and aerospace engineering. 1,438 Amelia Earhart Fellowships, totaling more than US$8.6 million, have been awarded to women from 70 countries.
Eligibility: Women of any nationality pursuing a Ph.D./doctoral degree who demonstrate a superior academic record in the field of aerospace-related sciences or aerospace-related engineering are eligible. Applicants must be registered in a full-time Ph.D./doctoral program when funds are received in September and may not graduate before April 2017.

Fellowship Deadline: The application, recommendation, transcripts, and graduate acceptance or letter of current standing must be postmarked by November 15.
