As part of their 25th reunion planning, members of the class of 1985 learned that anyone who includes Carleton in their estate plans, regardless of dollar amount or contingency, can become a member of the Joseph Lee Heywood Society. They also learned that it's easy to set up a provision for Carleton. Class leaders, including Kirk Weidner ’85 decided to focus on Heywood Society recruitment as part of their class’ reunion efforts.
"We want our class to make a real difference for Carleton, and this is another way for us to do that," Kirk said. "If there is a year to make this a part of reunion this is it. We don't want to wait until our 50th."
