Volunteer for Carleton

What is VFC?

Volunteer for Carleton (VFC) is an annual, campus-wide stewardship event held in Great Hall. Student volunteers have the opportunity to:

  • Learn more about opportunities to volunteer for Carleton now and after graduation
  • Make fundraising calls to alumni on behalf of the Alumni Annual Fund
  • Write thank you notes to Carleton donors and volunteers
  • Take part in a media project thanking alum donors

Volunteer for Carleton will be held January 19th-23rd, 2014 in Great Hall. Please join us on Sunday through Thursday from 5 pm to 8:30 pm.

Auction and Raffle

Student participation is encouraged through the auction and raffle, which occurs on the Friday following VFC. As students make phone calls and participate in VFC throughout the week, they earn tickets to be used at the auction and for the raffle. The auction and raffle consist of donations provided by the Carleton community and local businesses, and are deeply appreciated.

Past donations have included home cooked meals, gift certificates to local businesses and the Carleton bookstore, tickets to professional sporting events, and even Sleep Number beds! Stay tuned for an updated list of prizes!

If you would like to make a donation to VFC, please complete the donation form. Donations can be mailed to the Alumni Annual Fund or dropped off at the Alumni Annual Fund office:
